Oakland Coffee History
Oakland Coffee has grown from a small one-room cafe to a bustling business with two locations and a wholesale roastery. The shop’s mission is to create a better future for coffee with conversations, collaborations, and community.
Whaley and Monlopp began roasting their own coffee in March 2020. They source all their beans from small farms and cooperatives, ensuring that farmers get fair wages for their work. The duo is passionate about sustainability and plans to build their own compostable coffee pod system.
