How to Brew Iced Coffee with Keurig
Brewing iced coffee using a Keurig coffee maker is a quick and easy way to make a fast and delicious iced coffee. Here are the steps to make your own iced coffee at home.
Step 1: Choose the Right Coffee
Choose the right coffee for your Keurig-brewed iced coffee. Use a dark roast coffee or a blend of light and dark roasts – something that tastes good both iced and hot.
Step 2: Choose the Right Strength
Choose the right strength of coffee. Different Keurigs require a different strength of coffee – check the manual to make sure you’re using the right settings.
Step 3: Set Up the Keurig
Set up the Keurig according to the manual and make sure all pieces are correctly set up. Test the water flow and the temperature settings.
Step 4: Place the Cup
Place the cup under the brew head and close the lid of the Keurig. Make sure the cup is large enough to accommodate the amount of water that will be produced.
Step 5: Brew the Coffee
Brew the coffee for about 2 minutes. You can also select a lower strength setting if you want a weaker iced coffee.
Step 6: Cool Down the Coffee
Allow the freshly brewed Keurig-made coffee to cool down. Put the cup in the refrigerator to cool it down further.
Step 7: Mix in Cream and Sweeteners
Mix in cream and any type of sweetener you desire. You can use sugar, honey, or sugar-free sweeteners.
Step 8: Pour Over Ice
Fill a cup with ice and pour your Keurig-made iced coffee over the cubes of ice. Add more cream or sweetener if desired.
Step 9: Enjoy!
Enjoy your freshly brewed iced coffee with Keurig.
- If you don’t like sweet or creamy iced coffee, you can add a few drops of vanilla extract for an extra layer of flavor.
- If you want to make a cold-brew Keurig iced coffee, use the over ice setting and brew a stronger batch of coffee.
- Be sure to clean your Keurig regularly to avoid any build up of residue which can affect the flavor of your iced coffee.
