How to Set Delay on Mr. Coffee
Brewing a hot pot of coffee with Mr. Coffee is convenient and easy. In fact, the idea of being able to wake up and have the smell of fresh hot coffee wafting through the house is quite appealing.
Steps to Setting Up a Delay Brew
- Press the “Delay Brew” button on the Mr. Coffee interface.
- Adjust the current time on the device using the plus and minus buttons corresponding to the HOUR and MINUTE settings.
- Choose the volume of coffee you want to brew by pressing the plus or minus buttons next to the “STRENGTH” or “SIZE” setting.
- When finished, press “OK” to confirm your settings.
Notes on Delayed Brewing
- You can delay brewing for up to 24 hours in advance.
- The volume of water you set for the delay brew is the same as the amount of water you’d use if you brewed it manually.
- You should fill the coffee filter and the water reservoir beforehand.
When you set up the delay brew, the machine will automatically begin brewing at the pre-set time. This way, you can wake up in the morning and bask in the aroma of freshly brewed coffee without having to tend to it right away.
