How To Get Coffee Stains Out of Car Seats
No one likes dealing with unsightly coffee stains on their car seats. Fortunately, there are several methods for removing coffee stains from auto fabric. Below is a list of ways to get your seats back to looking as good as new:
1. Blot the Stain Immediately
As soon as you notice the stain, use a clean cloth to blot the area gently. Don’t scrub or rub the stain, as this will spread it and make it tougher to remove.
2. Make a Cleaning Solution
Mix ¼ teaspoon of mild detergent or 45 mL of enzyme cleaner with a quart (1 litre) of water. You may also use clear club soda or hydrogen peroxide diluted with water.
3. Sponge the Stain with the Solution
Take a sponge, wet it, and press it against the area of the stain. Do not rub. Gently wipe the area in a circular motion. If the stain remains, mix 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1/2 cup of warm water and repeat the process.
4. Blot the Stain Dry
When you have removed the stain, use a dry cloth to blot the area dry. Be sure to use a different area of the cloth for each round of blotting.
5. Condition the Upholstery
After the stain has been completely removed and the area is completely dry, apply a fabric conditioner or upholstery protector to help keep future stains from setting in.
By using these tips, you should be able to easily get coffee stains out of car seats without much hassle.
