Drying Coffee Grounds

Step 1: Clean the Coffee Beans

- Fill the top tray with a small amount of beans.

Turn the dehydrator on and allow to run for 12 hours, or until the beans turn a light brown and are brittle to the touch. When you’re finished, only 5% of the original weight should remain.
Step 4: Store the Coffee Beans
Once the beans have been dried and cooled, they can be stored in an airtight container, such as a Mason jar, and stored away in a cool, dark place. With proper storage practices, these beans can remain fresh for over a year.
