Does Coffee Grounds Repel Insects?

Is It Effective?

Insects have varied responses to the compounds in coffee grounds and some may be more stubborn than others. Additionally, it’s unlikely to provide much protection from crawling or flying insects that don’t come into direct contact with the grounds.
It may be worth experimenting with coffee grounds in your home, as they are much safer than chemical insecticides. But be sure to also take other preventative measures like fixing leaky pipes and sealing up any entry points.
