How to make Caramel Coffee Syrup

Caramel coffee syrup is an easy way to add a delicious sweet flavor to an otherwise ordinary cup of coffee. Here’s how to make your own caramel coffee syrup.



    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar


    • 2 tablespoons butter


    • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup


    • 1/8 teaspoon salt


    • 1/2 cup heavy cream


    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract




    • Step 1: Combine the granulated sugar, butter, light corn syrup and salt in a medium saucepan. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil (about 4 minutes).


    • Step 2: Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Return the saucepan to the heat and continue cooking stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Boil for one minute.


    • Step 3: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow the syrup to cool before transferring it to an airtight container.
