Making Coffee Without A Coffee Pot
More and more people are turning to the internet (particularly YouTube) to explore creative ways of making coffee without a traditional coffee pot. Well, it is possible and quite simple, too! Here are some tips on making coffee without a coffee pot.
French Press
The French Press is one of the easiest and most popular ways to make coffee without a coffee pot. All you need is a French Press, freshly ground coffee, water, a thermometer and a timer.
- Set up the French Press on a flat surface and pour the ground coffee into the bottom.
- Now pour the hot water over the grounds using the thermometer to make sure it’s at the right temperature.
- Stir the grounds and put the lid on the French Press and start your timer.
- After three to four minutes, press the plunger down slowly and evenly.
Pour Over Coffee
The Pour Over method is another great way to make coffee without a coffee pot. All you need is a paper filter, a conical dripper, freshly ground coffee and hot water.
- Place your filter in the conical dripper and add the appropriate amount of ground coffee.
- Start with a slow, gentle pour of hot water over the grounds. Make sure you pour in a circular motion to fully saturate the grounds.
- Continue to pour, making sure that you are pouring in the same circular motion, until you have achieved your desired amount of brewed coffee.
- Once you have finished pouring, allow the coffee to drain through the filter and then it is ready to be served.
Now that you know how to make coffee without a coffee pot, there’s no excuse not to enjoy a delicious cup of joe! So, give one of these methods a try and see for yourself just how easy it is.
